Zoe's Thursday Accidental 4 Miler, 1.23.10

Saturday’s temperature was somewhere between the mid 40’s to the mid 50’s. A little breezy but sunny and nice. I was tired so I added some new songs to make the run more interesting. I wasn’t sure how far I could get so I stretched and started running without a goal. It was muddy because of all the rain we had and the melting snow. It made it difficult to run and it kind of felt like my ankles were going to give out or I was going to sleep. Half way through I was winded and looked at my Nike+ and realized it had only tracked the time. I actually called my husband to come get me and then realized I couldn’t track my run if I didn’t run back. So I canceled my saving ride, made sure my Nike+ was working and ran back home. I ran 4 miles in 44 minutes which is faster than my usual run and explained why I was so winded. I would have been excited if I didn’t feel like dying. Hopefully next Saturday I’ll be able to do the same and feel good. Fingers Crossed!
