Thursday

Jen's Thursday Run and Quick Downfall 1.28.10

Sorry for the late post - Thursday night at the gym was FANTASTIC! Pushed myself hard on the bike, arc trainer and treadmill - since you're only interested in the treadmill part it was 2.5 miles in 30:30 - kept increasing the speed from 4.6 to 6 mph and felt great! The flu hit a few hours later and I've been recovering since - it's a good thing my dad just dropped off the latest edition of Runner's World for me to flip through, there's a great article in there about running before/during/after an illness and how to bounce back from the flu!



Zoe's Thursday Crampy Run
Thursday's run started out good with lots of motivation. Around half a mile the cramp started on my right side just under my ribs. Not sure why cramps happen but this was a bad one. I tried lifting up my chin and putting my arm up but nothing changed so I stopped my run and i got a mile in. I can't lie though, I was happy to be done. lol
